Charles Schemm, a U.S. native, is a true polymath in the world of filmmaking and production. With roots as a music video director and independent artist in Taiwan, his creative foundation was built on a rich tapestry of storytelling that spans multiple artistic disciplines. From an early age, Charles was immersed in the power of narrative, a gift that would shape his eclectic career.
At just 22, he captured the spotlight by winning Best Short at Taiwan Public Television’s Film Camp and soon after worked on The Golden City—a record-breaking drama series that continues to dominate the charts five years on.
With 11 years of choreography under his belt, 8 years of lyrical mastery as a rapper, and over 8 years in filmmaking, Charles has forged a vibrant and dynamic path through the worlds of art and entertainment, effortlessly blending form and function to create captivating works.
